It's been pretty long since I posted on my LJ, but here I am yet again trying to get something out for all my loyal fans to read.  So, let's see.  Something interesting that happened since I last posted.  Hmmm....

Well, first off, I finally moved out of my parent's house and I'm living with two close friends in an apartment.  It's a lot harder now that I have to buy my own food, clothes, etc. etc. along with paying my rent.  It does get a bit lonely being by myself, but I have my dog to take care of most of that.  Also, my brother moved out as well.  He's in a misson at the moment in Chicago.  He moved out shortly after Christmas and he seems to be doing pretty good for himself.  I know I complained a lot about him in the past, but still his my bro and I love him to death.  My mom's place seems oddly silently without him around to joke with.  :/

I'm still working at the hospital washing dishes but how long I'll be able to stay there without losing my mind is anyone's guess.  I don't get paid a lot and the hours are all most nonexistant.  It hurts, I'll tell you that much.  I'm probably going to start looking for a new job soon, if I can ever motivate myself to start looking.  School has been going okay, but I've missed quite a bit of it.  I need to start buckling down with that.

Well, since I caught you guys up on how my life has been going lately, the abridged version anyways, let's move on to some other stuff.

I recently picked up the Hulk Vs.  DVD and loved it immensly.  Hulk Vs. Wolverine was extremely brutal, especially for an American cartoon, and Hulk Vs. Thor had an extrememly epic feel to it.  I'm thinking about picking up an Xbox 360 if the economic stimulis plan goes through, which I don't think has passed completly yet.  There's quite a few games coming out that I'm really looking forward to, or that I really want to play, and the only way I'll be able to play them is if I get that or a PS3.

Also, Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy have been confirmed for the new Batman Arkham Asylum game.  I don't think I've ever been so excited to hear voice actors announced for a video game.

I Can See!!

So, my glasses finally came in today.  Hurray!  :D  It's wonderful to finally be able to see the TV without having to be sitting up, leaning in real close in order to make out what the heck is going on.  I can finally sit back and relax when I'm watching movies, playing video games or surfing the web.  You know, the old saying is true, "You never know how much you'll truly miss something until it's gone."  I'm just glad I didn't have to live without my glasses for to long.  Although, a little under two weeks and it was beginning to drive me crazy.

Also, I really wish I could play World of Warcraft right now.  I know it's an extremely dorky thing to do, extremely time consuming but I still love the game, but I'm not sure if the computer I have right now will be able to handle it.  :/  Maybe I'll try to download it tomorrow and see what happens.  After all, the worst that can happen is that it'll not work and I'll just uninstall it.

Finally, I really hope gas gos under $2.00 a gallon before I have to fill it up on Friday.  >.<

Edit: I just found out that they finally announced the sequel to the Tales of Symphonia anime!  Wohoo!  I can't wait for them to release the new episodes!  :D

Read about it here, thought there isn't much info right now.  :/  www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-09-24/tales-of-symphonia-anime-sequel-project-green-lit

So, I finally got around to watching two classic anime series that I had never seen before, Cowboy Bepop and Slayers.  I borrowed Cowboy Bepop from a friend of mine and bought the first season of Slayers myself, for only $20.  Don't really know why it took me so long to finally get around to watching these shows, but I'm glad I did.  I enjoyed both shows greatly.  I would tell you my thoughts on both of them, but I'm sure that they've been written down somewhere else before and have been put in to far more eloquent words than I could ever come up with.  I also bought the complete series of Burst Angel.  I thought it was decent, though it could've been a lot better.

No new pair of glasses yet.  Hopefully I'll have a new pair by tomorrow or the next day.

I have, officially, found the most original and stupidest way to break a pair of glasses.... ever.  I was at work and left to go to the bathroom.  As I was finishing up, a lens from my glasses popped of just as I was flushing the toilet and fell in, getting flushed into oblivion as I stared, mouth opened wide, at the dumbest stroke of bad luck I have ever been a part of.  I know for a fact that later on in my life I will look back on this and laugh until I'm blue in the face, most of my friends are doing that at this moment, but right now I just want to plow my head through my desk.  It'll take me sometime next week for me to get a new pair, since the place that I go to for my eye check-ups can't cut the glasses there.  Now, if you'll excuse me.

Obsessed with Games.

Though it seems like I'm not to good at them.  I just went into my bedroom and looked at all the games I own.  I have not beaten 17 out of 32 of my games, and if you add all the games on my Sonic Mega Collection, Megaman Anniversary Collection, Legend of Zelda Compilation and all the games I've downloaded off the Virtual Console then the unbeaten game count shoots up to astronomical portions.  That's why I'm designating tomorrow, Thursday and Friday as gaming days.  Where I'll spend the whole day before work, and most of the time afterwards, playing those unbeaten games and trying my best to beat some of them, at least.

I don't know why I seem to have such a hard time beating games.  I think it's because when I get stuck on one or another I'll put it down for a while and when I pick it up again I have no clue what to do.  Here's hoping I can get some of them beaten, at least.

My first con.

Seems like it's been forever since I've posted here.  *Looks at last post date* April 30th!!  O.O

Anyways, I'm sorry about not posting here for so long.  It just hasn't been on my mind lately.  So, I just got back from my first ever Anime convention today, namely EXP Anime and Gaming Convention in St. Augustine and it was a blast!  It was a first year con, so it was a little disorganized but they had a lot of great events and some really cool guests.  Their was Steve Blum and Beau Billingslea from Cowboy Bepop and Johnny Yong Bosch from Trigun and Bleach.  It was a pretty good sized con, not to big but it wasn't really small either.  I also found a sweet CD with songs from every Final Fantasy game being played by an orchestra, so that was pretty sweet.  You guys can see the pics I took here:  viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm  .  Also,  you guys can send me a friend request on Myspace if you want, just include who you are  that way I don't delete it.

You want to know what's really cool?  Getting paid, your income tax and selling back your college books all in the same week.  It's quite nice to have a lot of money.  I got about $150 from my books and $555 from income tax, I get my pay check tommorow.  Needless to say, I've already blown most of it....  >.>

I picked up The Tick vs. Season 1 and Pinky and the Brain vol. 1 with my book money and I got a Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and 2000 Wii Points with my income tax.  So yes, I finally have a Wii.  I'll post my friend code soon, once I find out what it is.

There's always a silver lining.

I've been forgeting to tell you guys this for a while.  I got my Pell Grant back in time for the new school semester!  \o.o/  Also, I've decided to go into the field of Radiology and I've signed up to make Radiological Technology my major and on top of that, I'll get about $800 back from the Pell Grant for myself!  This has been a really good past two weeks for me, except for work.  Work has been cutting back my hours a lot lately.  This time I only have 27 hours over a two week period.  I'm probably going to have to start looking for a new job soon, or beg them to give me more hours, that won't give me enough to pay my Mom rent, let alone gas.  :/

Well, anyways, here's my schedule for the spring semester.

Macroeconomics 9:00-9:50 MWF
Humanities I 10:00-10:50 MWF
World Civilization II 8:00-9:15 TR
Medical Terminology Online

Medical Terminology is really  hard too.  I'm going to have to do a lot of studying, something I'm no where as used to doing as I should be, in order to pass.  Well, wish me luck with the new school semester.

Well, Merry Christmas everyone!  Though, it's kinda late for that.  Stupid procrastination...  >.>

Cool gifts I got this year:

A New computer from my Dad.  (My parents are split up right now and planning a divorce)
Phoneix Wright Trials and Tribulations
Air the Motion Picture (Very good and very sad.   D:)
Jacksonville Jaguars Jersey
Jacksonville Jaguars Wall clock

That's about it for the cool stuff.  The rest was mostly things I needed.  Socks, a new belt, work pants, shaving cream.  Stuff like that.  Also, I picked up Elite Beat Agents with a gift card someone gave me.  So much fun.  ^_^   I also got FEAR, which I'll probably continue playing once I work up the nerve to.  XD

Well, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.

Okay, who's bright idea was it to release the 15th volume of FMA a few weeks before Christmas, when I have no money?!

Also, I'll be seeing I Am Legend tonight.  I'll probably post my thoughts on it later.
